What is Ostrich?

Ostrich is a B2B intelligence platform for the short-term rental industry. We help property managers find and evaluate vendor tools, vendors find qualified PM leads, and event organizers connect with the STR community.

Is Ostrich free to use?

Yes, the core platform is free. You can browse vendor reviews, search the directory, and participate in the community at no cost. Paid plans unlock advanced features like peer benchmarking, ICP scoring, CSV exports, and API access.

How does Ostrich make money?

Ostrich offers tiered subscriptions for property managers (PM Intel), vendors (Vendor Intel), and event organizers (Organizer Intel). Vendors can also pay for targeted broadcasts to reach PMs.

How is Ostrich different from AirDNA or Transparent?

AirDNA and Transparent focus on property-level performance data (ADR, occupancy, revenue). Ostrich focuses on the B2B layer: which vendors PMs use, company-level intelligence, and competitive benchmarking between PM companies. We're complementary, not competitive.

How do I write a vendor review?

Navigate to any vendor page and click 'Write a Review'. You'll rate the vendor on several dimensions specific to their category.

What is peer benchmarking?

Peer benchmarking shows how your PM company compares to others in your market and size band. Free users see a headline percentile. Growth and Pro subscribers get full peer bands.

How do I claim my company listing?

Go to your company page and click 'Claim this listing'. We'll send a verification code to your company email.

For Vendors

How do I claim my vendor listing?

Navigate to your vendor page and click 'Claim this listing'. After email verification, you can update your profile and access analytics.

What is ICP scoring?

ICP scoring uses your configuration to rank PMs by how well they match your target customer. Factors include portfolio size, market type, tech stack, and growth signals.

How do broadcasts work?

Broadcasts let you send a targeted message to PMs. You select your audience by market and size. Growth plans include 5 broadcasts/month; Pro plans include 15 broadcasts/month.

Account & Billing

How do I reset my password?

Click 'Forgot password?' on the login page. We'll email you a link to set a new password.

Can I change my subscription plan?

Yes, go to your dashboard and click 'Manage Subscription' to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel through the Stripe billing portal.
